Ignored?

Dejected?

Comment rejected?

Newspapers and blogs often reject comments.

We all find that annoying, and amusing, and sometimes revealing.

This is clearly a gap for a new resource.

Whenever someone has a comment rejected from a site:

they can come to commentrejected.com

fill in the url from where their comment was rejected,

and post their comment on commentrejected.com instead,

which puts all the rejected comments of one thread together,

along with a link back to the context.

It’ll need a bit of coding,

but it could easily go viral

and basically win teh internet.

If you want to get involved in writing the code and building the site then join up at

http://groups.google.com/group/commentrejected/

As well as commentising pages that don’t even accept comments

and providing an outlet for comments rejected on ideological grounds

I think it might be very interesting to see patterns

in the comments which get rejected

by bloggers and newspapers

with them all lined up nicely.
